NOTES: I was first engaged to sing a version of this song (in English) on one of my contracts for Norwegian Cruise Lines. I have sung it for various shows since then, and have added another Edith Piaf song (next on this album) to my repertoire. This year, I was hired to appear AS the famed French chanteuse Edith Piaf for two different events, for which I received many accolades from the attendees. For those events I adjusted my vocal techniques and style to more closely resemble Edith Piaf’s voice and here is the result.
